What previous interns have to say...
  • Irish Welcome Tours provided me the best Irish Experience I ever had. The three months internship I did in the accounts department helped me to be more independent and understand people in a great atmosphere. Since day one I felt welcomed and during the first week I received great training on the software and thanks to that I was very quickly operational.

People at the office are really friendly and give you true responsibilities.

Irish Welcome Tours has a great intern culture and it has been really easy to integrate. It is also a huge opportunity to travel in Ireland and visit Dublin. I highly recommend doing an internship at IWT!

  • I had an amazing and unforgettable time as an intern at IWT. I felt very welcome and integrated from the first day on. During my stay from March to August, I gained a lot of experiences. As a member of the accounts department I had a big responsibility for the invoices. Furthermore, I wrote a lot of emails and could improve my English on the phone.

I will definitely miss the time and the great fun I had with my lovely colleagues.

  • During my 6-months stay at IWT I had the chance to have a complete insight and view into the processes of the groups department. From the beginning, I felt very welcome and I was integrated into the department completely.

I had to get in contact with the suppliers, order services, do invoices and later on I was even responsible for a few groups on my own. I had a great time and I really enjoyed my work here, because the staff are really nice, the interns are really appreciated and we are involved in the whole company.

  • I would like to thank you for the opportunity to work with Irish Welcome Tours.
I had an amazing time working with a lot of wonderful people that did everything to integrate us interns.
In my department I really learned a lot and the last month I could nearly do everything all permanent staff could do. Thus I was lucky to having worked with a great team that trusted me with helping with the groups and even giving me own ones.
After six month I can definitely say that working with Irish Welcome Tours helped me a lot – not only just by working in Group Operations but also in understanding how a tour operator works and which departments are important.
In this regard thank you for the presentations of each department as these have been extremely helpful to get to know the connections between the departments and to understand the booking processes as a whole!
Concluding I am very glad to having been able to do my internship with Irish Welcome Tours and I am going to recommend this opportunity to my college in Germany and other students studying tourism.
    Thank you very much.
